Caceres is actually, one of the most knowlegeable professional on the market regading Civil Aviation System Safety and Security (avSec), having an experience of 30 years on the field. His professional background encompasses a broad experience as a Captain on BAe46/RJ, A320, A330 and B737-800. He started as copilot on DC9-30, performing his initial transition training at Alitalia Training Center, Rome, Italy. He is actually current on A320 and SFI(A) on the same aircraft, having also experience on Cessna 551 Citation Business Jet.   Beside that unique experience asset, Capt Caceres has collaborated for more than 15 years as Aviation Quality Auditor on the following fields: ICAO Annexes 6, 8, 13, 17, 18, ICAO USOAP Implementation, OPS 1 (Airplanes), JAR-OPS 3 (Helicopters), Reg. (EC) 2042 (Maintenance Airplanes and Helicopters). He has particpated as Team Member in two ECAC Security audits, as ECAC Certified Security Auditor. He has experience as Deputy Quality Manager in an Italian AOC’s Business Aviation operator (Helicopters and Aircrafts), having completed more than 1500 audits. Before the Lybian conflict of March 2011, he has provided strategic advice to the Lybian CAA regarding ICAO USOAP compliance and European Commission black list avoidance internal CAA audit plan for their carriers. Capt. Caceres is an accredited International Standard for Business Aviation (IS- BAO) auditor. He is also a Safety Management System, Non-Technical Skills, Human Factors and human Error Lecturer, recognized by the Italian and Luxemburgese CAAs. On behalf European Business Aviation Association (EBAA), he assisted their “first ever” European research on the filed of FRMS in Business Aviation. He often is speaker at several International Safety and Security Seminars and Symposiums (see the “Papers” page above). Capt. Caceres holds two degrees from the City University of London, UK: MSc in Air Transport Management and MSc in Air Safety Management. His has completed his training as an Air Accident Investigator (6 weeks course) at the Crainfield University, UK.
